For today's card I went to one of my favorite books by Jeanette Lynton, Originals.  It makes your creativity flow.  I found page 116 and knew I had to make it right away.

Valentine's Blog Hop Day 4!

I used the new Kraft Paper cut 8x6.  I cut multiple flower shapes, then distressed them with desert sand and bamboo ink.  Spray with water, wrinkle them up, and flatten slightly to dry.  I stacked them up and attached them with a brad.  I attached them to the card using pop dots for a little extra dimension.  I punched 3 circles with the 2" scallop punch.  Cut 2 of them in half and attach to card under the 6" green ribbon.  I stamped a canvas badge button with sentiment.

Valentine's Blog Hop Day 1!

Welcome to the 2nd annual Valentine's Day Blog Hop.  Check back with me every day for a new project to help inspire you to unleash some creativity!  Don't forget to follow my blog also!

Products used - 4 1/2" white circle card, Sweetheart Paper Pack Level 2, Pink Brad Assortment, Sweetheart Level 2 epoxy heart stickers, Lots of Dots, 2" Scalloped Punch, CTMH Ink in Cotton Candy and Black.

Directions - Trim black paper and pink paper to fit card.  Ink edges of paper with coordinating ink.  Ink letters with Cotton Candy ink.  Adhere to card.  To make flower.  Punch out 4 scalloped circles.  Fold in half, then half again, and half for a 3rd time.  Use those creases to push in the sides.  Glue dot all 4 'petals' to a piece of scrap paper.  Add pink brad with a little glitz!
